Wild: a substitution role with exceptions
Wilds commonly substitute for specified ordinary symbols. The exact exceptions belong to the game’s rules. Do not assume that every Wild substitutes for a Scatter or triggers every feature. The original’s Golden Joker transformation makes the timing of that role important.
Scatter: a feature or award condition
A Scatter can have trigger conditions that differ from ordinary symbol combinations. The number required, eligible positions and resulting feature depend on the edition. Deluxe supplies a specific trigger in its overview; that information should remain attached to Deluxe.
Why 3 Super Ace needs more than one label
The newer title describes three Scatter types. Recording only the word Scatter would lose the distinction between those effects and their possible combinations. The full rulebook is still needed to explain every qualifying arrangement.
