A running Free Games total is not the award from each separate spin
If a feature’s cumulative award reads 5, then 12, then 12, then 20, adding those four displays gives 49—but the final cumulative amount is still 20.
Once a field is confirmed to be a running total, subtract consecutive values to recover the increases. Do not count the earlier accumulated amounts again at every update.

Confirm what the counter represents
The UK Gambling Commission’s transaction-display standard is a reference for clear amounts and units. It does not identify the meaning of a counter in a specific game. That meaning must come from the actual help or record labels.
Our fictional feature starts at zero and reports a cumulative award after each of four completed steps: 5, 12, 12 and 20 units. We assume no reset, correction, currency change or separately excluded component. These assumptions make subtraction meaningful.
Turn the cumulative series into increments
| Completed step | Running total | Increase from previous total |
|---|---|---|
| Start | 0 | — |
| 1 | 5 | 5 − 0 = 5 |
| 2 | 12 | 12 − 5 = 7 |
| 3 | 12 | 12 − 12 = 0 |
| 4 | 20 | 20 − 12 = 8 |
The increases add to 5 + 7 + 0 + 8 = 20, matching the final total. Adding the displayed totals instead gives 49 because the same early awards are counted repeatedly. A flat total at step three means no increase under our stated model, not another 12-unit award.

A reset breaks the simple chain
If the display resets to zero for a new stage, subtracting across that boundary would create a misleading negative value. Separate the stages and establish whether their subtotals are later included in another total. A correction or a switch of units also needs its own explanation.
A missing intermediate screenshot prevents you from assigning an increase to each unseen step. You may still know the combined change between two confirmed totals, but that does not reveal how the change was distributed in between.
Keep game totals separate from wallet postings
The feature’s final cumulative award and an account credit are different record fields. A final total of 20 does not establish whether, when or in how many entries it was posted. Match the completed round reference to the account record without adding both as separate wins.
This worksheet explains a complete, labeled series. It neither tests a game nor promises recovery after an interruption. Its value is a simple check: identify whether a field is cumulative, preserve its boundaries, and use differences only where the definitions remain consistent.
